Danielle Gro'ak (she/her) is an interdisciplinary artist in Los Angeles with a passion for community-based arts education. She develops arts-integrated Pre-K to 12th grade curriculum and arts programs for schools, nonprofits, and cultural centers, including the nationally award-winning suite of digital offerings, Noah’s Ark at the Skirball: Art of Imagination. Her children's books, illustrations, performances, and public art focus on sustainability, social-emotional development, and community-based learning through the arts. Danielle holds a B.A. in History with a minor in Fine Art and a M.A. in Teaching from University of San Francisco. She studied medieval folklore at University of Oxford, England and received a Global Study Abroad Scholarship. Danielle has held teaching positions at Bricks4Kidz, High Rocks Academy for Girls, San Francisco Unified, and YMCA. She champions the arts and its transformative power to create spaces that are just, joyful, and resilient.
